Sejong City youth team won the final of the 2nd Andong Hahoe Talbae National Children’s Baseball Competition held in Andong-si, Gyeongsangbuk-do on the 12th, and after a draw and two penalty shootouts, beat Chungnam Asan City Youth Baseball Team (coach Hwang Min-ho) 11 to 7 and advanced to the strongest league, Youth Blue Dragon (Youth Blue Dragon). Hosted by the Andong City Baseball Softball Association and organized by the Korea Youth Baseball Federation (Chairman Lee Sang-geun), this tournament was held for 6 days from October 7 to 12, with a total of 72 teams including players and parents at 7 stadiums, including Andong Yongsang Sports Park Baseball Stadium. It was a fierce battle with over 1,000 people participating. 

This tournament was held with a lot of interest, with support from Andong City, Andong City Sports Council, baseball equipment company Wepan (Gold Bat), Storm Baseball, Finn Sports, Waniel-Diameng, Dominion, and aminoregen, a functional food for muscle and ligament reinforcement. 

This competition was held in the form of a preliminary group stage and a final tournament, and a total of 7 categories were awarded, including Sprout League (U-9), Dream League (U-11), Youth League (U-13), and Junior League (U-16). A heated battle took place over it.

The Sejong City Youth Baseball Team, which won the Blue Dragon Youth League (U-13), the strongest league, showed off its skills by defeating strong elementary school teams and taking second place in the U-12 National Youth Baseball Competition, the largest competition for elementary school baseball teams in the country, held in Uljin this year. The Sejong City Youth Baseball Team got off to a good start by winning 8-4 against the Busan MSG Youth Baseball Team (coach Min-seok Yoo) in the first game of the preliminary round of this tournament, thanks to Lee Yu-chan (6th Dajeong Elementary School), who went 2 hits and 4 RBIs in 3 at-bats.

They won all three matches in the preliminary round, ranked first in their group, and secured a ticket to the semifinals.

In the semifinals of Seoul’s emerging powerhouse Gangnam Dogok Youth Baseball Team (coach Yoon Jeong-ho), Kim Do-kyung’s dominant home run as the leadoff hitter and Choi Si-woo (Dodam Elementary School 6th) pitched 6K and no runs in 3 innings to take the lead in the top of the first inning, defeating the team 4-0. advanced to the finals of 

In the finals, Park Ji-ho of the Doosan Bears was nominated this year, defeating the Asan City Youth Baseball Team (Coach Hwang Min-ho), a traditional powerhouse that produced KBO professional rookie nominees for two consecutive years following Kwon Dong-hyuk (LG Twins) last year, defeating not only the youth baseball club but also the elementary school baseball team to take second place.
