KT Wiz announced on the 12th that it had applied for waiver notification to the KBO for four players, including left-handed pitcher Baek Seon-ki, right-handed pitcher Baek Hyun-soo, infielder Lee Dong-gwan, and catcher Han Ji-yong.

Infielder Lee Dong-gwan, a graduate of Jangan High School and Wonkwang University, joined as a development player in 2023 and recorded a batting average of 0.229 (11 hits in 48 at-bats), 3 RBIs, 13 runs, and 4 stolen bases in 31 games in the Futures League.
Catcher Han Ji-yong, who graduated from Yeongnam Middle School and Shinil High School, was selected by KT with the 62nd overall pick in the 2nd 7th round of the 2020 rookie draft. Ji-Yong Han recorded a batting average of 0.266 (41 hits in 154 at-bats), 2 home runs, 16 RBIs, and 18 runs in 78 games in the Futures League.
