Daegu FC prepares to face Jeju United with the support of their home fans.
Daegu FC will host Jeju United in the 28th round of the Hana OneQ K League 1 2023 at DGB Daegu Bank Park on 26 November at 7pm. With two wins and three draws in their last five matches against Jeju, Daegu is determined to get back on track.
바카라사이트The home game against Jeju was sold out at 6pm on the 19th, just four hours after the general ticket sales opened. Daegu will welcome fans with a variety of events on the day, including ‘Yong-Rae Day’ and ‘SAVE the Sky with DGB Daegu Bank Day’, themed after player Yong-Rae Lee.
Daegu returned to action with a point after drawing away to Seoul in the last round. With six games to go in the regular round, they currently sit in eighth place (35 points), with just two points separating them from sixth-placed Incheon. Daegu is in need of a solid three points to move up in the tight mid-table battle.
Daegu will look to bounce back from their recent six-match winless run by travelling to Jeju, where they have fond memories. The all-time record against Jeju is 14 wins, 16 draws and 19 losses, but Daegu has the edge with two wins and three draws in the last five matches. They drew 1-1 in the first meeting of the season on 4 March (Vassellus scored) and won 2-1 in the second meeting on 7 July (Hong Chul and Jang Jang-won scored). It was also Daegu’s most recent victory.
Daegu will look to take on Jeju with veteran players who have been at the heart of the team in times of crisis. Eldest brother Lee Geun-ho scored his 80th career K League goal, his first in four games, against Gwangju in Round 23. Captain Se Jing-ya also added an assist on the day, becoming the first player since the introduction of the relegation system to record 50 goals and 50 assists in K League 1 alone. Daegu will look to Lee Geun-ho, Edgar, and Sejing-ya to end a goal drought that has prolonged their slump.
Their opponents, Jeju, are ninth in the league with 34 points. Jeju faltered in their last round match against Suwon Samsung, losing 0-1. For both teams, a win in this round will be key to leapfrogging up the standings. It will be interesting to see if Daegu can secure all three points against Jeju in this home match.
