바카라사이트 With the dizzying moment behind him, Ryu Hyun-jin (36-Toronto) is back in search of his first win since his return. His opponent is the Chicago Cubs. One of the hottest teams in the entire big leagues right now. Former teammate Cody Bellinger is at the centre of the batting order.
Ryu will start against the Cubs at 2:37 a.m. ET on Thursday at Rogers Centre in Toronto. It will be his third start since undergoing elbow ligament reconstruction surgery and rehabilitation last June. Ryu took the loss in Baltimore on 2 February, allowing four runs in five innings. On the 8th, he threw a no-hitter against Cleveland before being hit in the right leg by a straight pitch. He handled the hit and recorded four scoreless innings of no-hit ball, but was unable to throw any more, and his first win of the season would have to wait until another time.
After avoiding any major injury concerns, the Cubs are a formidable opponent for Ryu. They are 15-5 in their last 20 games and 7-3 in their last 10. Even compared to their last opponent, Cleveland, this is a tough test. In terms of OPS against lefties alone, Cleveland is last in the league at 0.648 and the Cubs are 13th at 0.755. That’s about the same as Baltimore (0.758), his first start.

This week’s opponent is Bellinger, who played with the Los Angeles Dodgers. After a down year after winning the National League MVP in 2019, Bellinger has rebounded perfectly this season. He’s batting .329 with an OPS of .938 and 18 home runs, which is right in line with his prime.
A left-handed hitter, Bellinger is actually stronger against lefties. He has an OPS of 0.832 against righties and 1.074 against lefties this season. How he fares against Bellinger will be the primary challenge in getting his first win back.
Hyun-jin Ryu’s Toronto fell to the Chicago Cubs 4-5 on the 13th, snapping a three-game losing streak. They remain in the third wild-card spot at 65-54, but Seattle has pulled within half a game of them. Ryu’s shoulders are even heavier.
